MEMBERSHIP MAKES THE MAGIC HAPPEN!
As of right meow we have 53 WAMBA members!
18 of those are Family memberships….so we’re somewhere around: 110 members (depending how many there are in each family)
Since we’ve already broken our previous records – let’s keep going!
Cajole your slacker friends who haven’t gotten around to joining this year – there are good deals to be had as a VMBA member, plus that warm fuzzy feeling deep down inside that you helped make MTB riding even better here.
Stay tuned for additional work sessions this summer and into the fall. There’s plenty to do!
You can help even if you can’t make the organized trail work sessions.
– put some small clippers in your pack next time you go ride. Coaster and Outer Loop need to be trimmed back. Cut branches all the way back to the stem of the tree ( no stubs!)
If you have cleared a trail, or made any improvements, or just want to report the conditions – you can do so by using the Trailforks App on your phone.
– pick up any trash you come across at the parking lot
-if you come across any spots that are wet, and not draining water, kick a drain in to get water off the trail.
-pick up any sticks / branches that you can easily move – don’t just leave it there.
-kick any loose rocks / sticks off of the trail tread.
