Two Things (and they are important)

First:  By our interpretation, yesterday’s Executive Order by Governor Scott prohibts group riding with people outside of your own household. So please don’t do it. Your life depends on it and our reputation as a chapter could be sorely damaged if you flaunt these rules. If the rules put out by the ACCD change anything, we’ll let you know.

Second: Today is opening day for Vermont’s main deer hunting season (rifle). Please respect this traditional use of the land. While technically our trails are not closed, please consider riding the gravel roads instead this weekend. Woodstock Aqueduct Company allows hunting. Mt. Peg is posted no hunting. S6 is not regularly posted. Even if land is posted you might still encounter hunters. So be safe, wear bright colors, and be respectful and kind if you go out on the trails. You never know if the person you run into is friends with the landowner or is the landowner.
