Since it is still too wet to ride, a few folks are planning on heading out to do some light trail work tomorrow night – 4/27 at 6:00pm sharp.
Rob Vaughan has gone out and cut through a bunch of deadfall on the trail – we’ll be clearing those locations and doing some other spring cleaning.
We’ll be riding up Grassy Lane from the Aqueduct Col lot to get to the work zones. Bring leaf rakes/gloves.
Woodstock Inn / Mt. Peg: The Inn trails are closed until they dry out more. Except for the Overlook and Red Pine Trail, Mt. Peg Park is closed to bike traffic. The only bike legal access to the top is via the Inn trails on Lincoln Ave.
Membership: You can re-up your membership at www.vmba.org. Your membership dollars come back to us and get put into tools and tangible benefits to our local trail systems. Membership money also funds the VMBA Trail Grant – which amounted to around $40,000 distributed to chapters around the State last year. The trail scene around Vermont continues to improve and we are psyched to have your support.
See you out there!
