Our commitment to youth riding.

The Woodstock community has experienced a noteworthy increase in youth mountain biking as a result of WAMBA’s stewardship.  With the thoughtful expansion of trails and a pump track built with kids, families, and beginners in mind, WAMBA has created a network for riders of all ages to experience the joy of riding two wheels on dirt while fostering participation in a healthy lifelong sport.  This has contributed greatly to the growth and success of the Woodstock Union High School mountain bike team.

WAMBA’s dedication and commitment to sustainable trails have positively impacted local youth. The Aqueduct trail’s proximity to the school campus makes an ideal network to utilize for the team’s practice as well as for the instruction of novice riders in the Summer SOAK program. These programs provide recreation for over 50 local youth and have contributed to the creation of a passionate group of youth riders. These riders will likely become future ambassadors for the sport of mountain biking continuing WAMBA’s commitment to trail stewardship.
