Grants are an essential source of revenue for WAMBA alongside membership dues and other fundraising. These high-impact awards have made possible special initiatives such as trail construction, cleanups, and other capital projects (bridges, technical features, Aqueduct parking lot, etc.). Here are some examples of the recent grants which have impacted our riding community.

Recent Grants Awarded to WAMBA

  • Ranch Camp VMBA Naming Grant - 2021

    The Ranch Camp, located in Stowe, VT, will assist WAMBA with the maintenance and rerouting of two of our most popular trails in the Aqueduct in 2022. WAMBA riders love bikes, beers, and burritos!! Thank you Ranch Camp.

  • VMBA Trail Grant - 2021

    Thanks to the VMBA Trail Grant, WAMBA was awarded funding to acquire a power hauler which will make trail work more efficient across all of our networks.

  • Cabot VMBA Naming Grant - 2020

    Through funding by the Cabot Creamery, approximately one mile of switch-back climb was constructed on the north side of the Aqueduct system. The Cabot staff traveled to Woodstock in the fall of 2021 and pitched in on the build! What a great day, an awesome trail, and the snacks that Cabot provided were phenomenal. Thanks Cabot!!!!
